Placing an order
Browse the marketplace, open a product and press Add to Cart. When you're ready, open your cart and choose Checkout Now. You'll need an account so we can attach the order to you and keep you updated.
If your cart holds items from more than one vendor, we split it into a separate order per vendor. Each vendor prepares and hands over their own items, so you may hear from more than one person.
Paying for your order
Payments run through Paystack. You can pay by card or mobile money on Paystack's own secure page — Studex never sees or stores your card details.
Your order stays unpaid until Paystack confirms the charge. Once it clears, the status flips automatically and both you and the vendor get a notification.
Delivery timelines & tracking
Each vendor in your cart sets their own delivery fee, or offers pickup instead — you'll see exactly what each one charges on the cart page before you pay. Handover itself is still arranged directly with the vendor. Most campus handovers happen within a day or two.
Track anything you've bought from My Orders. The vendor updates the status as they prepare and hand over your items.
Cancelling an order
If an order hasn't been paid for yet, you can simply leave it — it won't be processed. For a paid order, message the vendor as soon as you can. Vendors can mark an order cancelled from their dashboard.
Returns & refunds
The Studex Guarantee covers a full refund within 24 hours if an item doesn't match its description. Once an order is marked delivered, open My Orders and select Request return / refund — the vendor sees your reason and responds from their dashboard. If you can't reach agreement, get in touch with us and we'll step in.
Accounts & verification
You need to verify your email before you can sell. Check your inbox for the verification link after signing up, and look in spam if it hasn't arrived within a few minutes.
Selling on Studex
Anyone with a verified account can open a store — see the seller guidelines for what's expected. Once you're set up, list products and track orders from your dashboard.
